Terms of use

These terms cover the website lonska.art and the LonskArt app for iPhone, iPad and Android. The app is published by Alamak OY, Vihuri 4 A 9, 20900 Turku, Finland. The paintings, their photos and the texts are by Irina Lonskaya. By using the website or the app you accept these terms.

The app is free

The app costs nothing and has no subscriptions, in-app purchases, ads or accounts. It needs an internet connection to load the paintings. Your mobile operator may charge for data.

The paintings and photos

All paintings, photos of paintings and texts are protected by copyright and belong to Irina Lonskaya. You may look at them, and make wall previews and screenshots in the app for your own personal use, for example to decide on a purchase or to show family and friends. You may not copy, print, sell, publish or otherwise use them, including to train artificial intelligence, without Irina Lonskaya’s written permission.

Seeing a painting on your wall

The augmented-reality view and the wall photo are a guide. Size and colour on screen can differ from the real painting, depending on your device, the light and how the wall was measured. Check the dimensions given for each painting before you buy.

Buying or commissioning a painting

Prices and availability on the website and in the app are for information and can change. A purchase or commission is agreed directly with Irina Lonskaya by email: she confirms the price, payment, delivery and any return terms in writing before you pay. Your rights as a consumer under the law are not affected.

Using the app

• Alamak OY gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control.
• Don’t misuse the app or the website: for example, don’t try to break or overload them, or copy, modify or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it.
• If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. On Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service apply, and the augmented-reality view runs on Google Play Services for AR (ARCore), which is provided by Google under its own terms.

Availability and liability

We look after the website and the app with care, but we can’t promise they will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or stop them. As far as the law allows, Alamak OY and Irina Lonskaya are not liable for indirect damage or lost profits caused by using them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Finnish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a dispute to the courts there or, in Finland, to the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi).
